Taria Tane receiving best poster award at the TUTOR 2023 Symposium
A huge congratulations to Taria Tane for winning best overall poster at the Transdisciplinary Understanding and Training on Research-Primary Health Care (TUTOR-PHC) conference in Canada last month!
Taria is a PhD candidate in the Manawataki Fatu Fatu programme. Her poster was on her scoping review and was titled: Drivers of equitable access to cardiovascular care for rural Indigenous Peoples: A scoping literature review.

The Transdisciplinary Understanding and Training on Research-Primary Health Care (TUTOR-PHC): Knowledge Mobilization Symposium was hosted on April 27 and 28, 2023 in Canada.
The overall goals of the TUTOR-PHC training programme are to:
- tackle current and future challenges in primary health care
- lead collaborative, interdisciplinary research teams
- increase the number and quality of interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research projects and publications across Canada
- grow a vibrant and inclusive research community by building partnerships with policy makers and patient partners across Canada
The TUTOR symposium was a highly valuable experience for Taria. Well done!
